The Ellicam module delivers a seamless, continuous connection between TopSolid’Cam and machine tools. Thanks to this native digital synchronization, machining setups and toolpaths are generated automatically— eliminating manual intervention entirely.
The result: a dramatic reduction in setup time. Preparing the first part drops from 3 hours to just 15 minutes, achieving nearly 85% time savings while ensuring optimal dimensional accuracy from the very first cut.
Acting as an intelligent bridge between TopSolid’Cam and the Automated Process Control (APC) module, Ellicam analyzes 3D models and machining toolpaths in real time to automatically configure tools. All critical data are captured: dimensions, geometries, surface finishes, machining codes, and more.
Automation is further enhanced by Machine Learning algorithms that detect dimensional deviations on the first part and send real-time compensation adjustments directly to the CNC—via DNC protocol or API—enabling fully automated, optimized production.
