03/08/2005 - Missler Software will participate at this year’s EMO in Hall 015, stand D46.
Present with 4 of its German and Swiss resellers: Adequate Solutions, ISK, Moldtech and NC Data, Missler Software will present its leading product lines TopSolid and GOelan.
TopSolid is an integrated CAD/CAM solution which enables design and manufacturing data to be linked in a given environment for very diverse fields of mechanical engineering:
Machinery, plastic parts, tooling, sheet metal work, general mechanical design, etc.
TopSolid has CAD/CAM modules for specific job functions: mould making, sheet metal, piping and wood.
The machining module TopSolid’Cam will be one of the key TopSolid exhibits at EMO this year. TopSolid’Cam is an integrated Cam software for the manufacturing of machined parts. Based on the automatic recognition of topological properties, TopSolid’Cam identifies individual shapes and can thus suggest the best machining method to use. Machine simulation, collision checks, management of the stock, spindle synchronization, raw part updating and visualization of material removal are important elements of TopSolid’Cam for tool path programming. During the trade fair a sneak preview of the imminent TopSolid’Cam 2006 will be on display showing the important advances in 5 axes machining, swiss turning operations and production management of this new version.
GOelan, the second product line of Missler Software, is a CAD/CAM solution for production machining and manages turning, milling and wire EDM. GOelan 2006 will be unveiled during EMO. GOelan 2006 responds to the following machining imperatives:
• How to reduce the time needed to generate CNC programs
• How to reduce machining times and optimize the use of machine tools.
One of the significant improvements in the new version of GOelan is:
Operations Lists Manager (OLM) which offers the possibility to reduce the toolpath generation process to only one step: selection of the geometry. The operator can save the strategy, tool and cutting conditions used to machine a part and create specific predefined Operations Lists. When it comes to machining a new part, the operator simply picks the appropriate Operations list and applies it to the new geometry.
