| With TopSolid'Viewer you can forward documents to external partners who do not use TopSolid without needing to convert the files into a neutral format such as IGES or STEP via an interface.
TopSolid'Viewer also supports the new .TopViw format with which you can only store the graphical representation of a document (to do so, use Save as in .TopViw format in TopSolid). The advantages are:
- The file is smaller and can thus more easily be sent via the Internet.
- The file does not contain the complete model. This ensures that certain confidential information is not communicated to the outside.
All kinematic animations of scenarios pertaining to the document are stored in *.TopViw files and can be reviewed with TopSolid'Viewer.
TopSolid'Viewer features several functions for print and review (see TopSolid'Viewer online help) and allows the user to add notes. Therefore, the files can be returned with comments that are integrated in the graphical display.
Within this new 2006 release It also manages layers!
TopSolid'Viewer supports the OLE server protocol which lets you embed TopSolid documents in Word and Excel. To do so, select Object
from the Insert menu in the respective applications. |
